UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen II is an upcoming mixed martial arts (MMA) pay-per-view event promoted by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on July 7, 2012. The card will feature six televised MMA bouts on pay-per-view, as well as five preliminary bouts. It is the seventeenth UFC event of the year and will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas


  UFC 148 Start Time
The UFC 148 main card start time is 10 pm ET/7pm PT on pay-per-view or online. A preliminary Facebook fight begins at 7:25 pm ET/4:25pm PT. The next four preliminary fights will air on FX at 8:00pm ET/5pm PT.

Anderson Silva faces off against the only guy who's really come close to beating him in the UFC: Chael Sonnen. Anderson Silva hasn't lost a fight in over six years, and enjoys the longest winning streak and title-defense streak in UFC history, often making it look almost too easy. However, at UFC 117, Sonnen really made Silva work for it.

Sharing top billing are Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin, who are meeting for the third time. Ortiz and Griffin have beaten each other once.
